Intranet-based Portfolio Navigator
for the sales personnel of T-Systems,
the technology service provider of the
largest German telcom.
Information regarding the extensive portfolio of the company should be made accessible to sales personnel intuitively and well structured.
Portfolio data was called down from an external system and processed dynamically to ensure their validity. A Flash-based movie offered spatial scaling and colour highlighting to visually convey the relationships between the individual portfolio elements and their associated structural criteria, e.g. market topics, industries, or strategic objectives. Dynamic scaling of the resolution ensured perfect legibility in various visualisation conditions.
Technology
The application was implemented in Flex, and resulted in a Flash movie output. An xml feed provides the basis for the portfolio data. The portfolio geometry was calculated dynamically.
Project Scope
InTradeSys designed and developed this solution as an interim solution, until the sales support system would be completed.
